Vancouver Block Building, 736 Granville Street

(at the City Centre Station of the Canada Line)

Next week, for the first time, Aeriosa performers will dance on the Vancouver Block, a designated heritage building near the intersection of Granville and West Georgia.

Built in 1912, this art nouveau high-rise is easily identified by its crowning architecture – a four-sided clock tower illuminated in neon lights at night.

Julia Taffe will be creating new choreography for six dancers suspended from ropes on the north, west and south walls of the building to culminate in three performance presentations of Serendipity on Sept 1, 2010.

All are welcome to this free event.
