In Situ Performance Times:

10pm – Wednesday, March 17th
10pm – Thursday, March 18th

8 pm – Friday, March 19th
8pm – Saturday, March 20th

In Situ is inspired by physical expression, engagement with the environment and societal contrasts – themes that permeate Vancouver’s cultural landscape and shape urban life on the West Coast.

In Situ takes place at Vancouver’s Central Library, the serene grandeur of Library Square setting the scene for dynamic interaction between dancers, musicians and Moshe Safdie’s striking architectural design.  Artists from Aeriosa and the Vertical Orchestra work three-dimensionally, presenting suspended dance and original spatial music throughout the venue at various heights. The show begins indoors in the Promenade, flows outdoors to the North Plaza and ends on the colonnades of the South Plaza.  As the performance unfolds audiences will be enticed to move through the building led by artists and guides who will interact with them along the way.

In Situ is a 50-minute performance.
