All sorts of adventures

Lots of exciting updates to share:office

I have just arrived home from the Red Rocks where I did my first multi-pitch climbs last week.

Big blue skies, cactus gardens and beautiful sandstone formations, truly nature’s playground. It was exhilarating to be working on my climbing skills in such a beautiful setting with a great group of friends and colleagues.

I’ve also begun dance rehearsals for Vancouver Opera’s next production Tea: A Mirror of Soul.

“An extraordinary fusion of Western opera and Eastern myth from the academy-award winning composer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon… Combining sounds of water, paper, ceramic and stone with a traditional western orchestra, Tan Dun’s haunting score is trance-like and beautiful.”

Performances run May 4, 7, 9 and 11 at 7: 30pm. For more info and tickets visit:

I am offering a yoga workshop at East Side Yoga in May

Yoga for Seasonal Allergies

Sunday May 12th from 2-4pm.

Do you suffer from spring time allergies?

Do bouts of sneezing and coughing, itchy eyes or a runny nose affect your sleep, concentration and productivity?

Come and learn how yoga can help you manage your allergies, assist you in better breathing and provide relief of these symptoms while strengthening your overall immune system.

As someone who is affected by allergies myself, I’ve learned to incorporate knowledge from yoga, Ayurveda and natural medicine to manage my allergies, and I am excited to pass on this information in an experiential workshop including a short discussion and practice of key poses

Cost: $25+Tax

http://eastsideyoga.ca/node/599 for more information and registration. If you have friends who might benefit from this workshop, please send the information along to them.
